Erlangen - Pelvic Floor Neuromodulation

Course description

This 1.5-day course is designed for physicians who are interested to start and expand their knowledge in the application of Sacral Neuromodulation for the treatment of Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions: overactive bladder, non-obstructive retention, fecal incontinence, and double incontinence. The course combines theoretical learning and hands-on experience.

  • Urologists

Learning objectives

At the end of this training participants will:

  • Know Pelvic Neuromodulation techniques 
  • Select patients for and clinically evaluate bladder and bowel neuromodulation technique effects 
  • Use X-ray for the right position of the tined lead
  • Make tests with temporary electrode and tined leads
  • Implant Sacral Neuromodulation
  • Manage implant complications
  • Program implant with advances features
