Course description
This course offers an opportunity to experienced users of Neuromodulation Techniques for the treatment of Chronic Pain to discuss with expert colleagues current and new treatment modalities for various intractable painful conditions. The training will start will a virtual introduction that participants can follow at their own pace, 2 weeks prior to the course. The morning of day 1 of the in-person training is focused on clinical case discussions and learning from failures in small groups at round table set-up, groups will rotate to different Faculty. The discussions in the afternoon on the first day will focus on ailments that will help the participants better understand the new treatment modalities, patient selection process, and implant techniques that lead to successful treatment of Head & Facial Pain, Neuropathic Pain, Pelvic Pain and Axial Pain. During the second part of the program participants will have the opportunity to practice implant techniques in embalmed bodies prepared for this purpose.
