Course description
Interventional Week is an immersive, faculty-led educational program combining two focused modules in balloon kyphoplasty (BKP) and thermal ablation. Through expert-led theory, clinical evidence review, interactive case discussions, technology comparison, and hands-on anatomical and practical sessions, participants will build knowledge and procedural confidence in patient selection, treatment planning, vertebral access, ablation workflows, imaging interpretation, risk mitigation, and multidisciplinary care pathways. Participants may attend the BKP module, the Thermal Ablation module, or both, according to their clinical practice and learning needs.
Target Audience
This course is intended for physicians involved in the assessment and interventional management of vertebral compression fractures, spinal lesions, and painful bone metastases, including spine surgeons, interventional radiologists, musculoskeletal radiologists, interventional oncologists, pain physicians, and other clinicians seeking to develop or strengthen their knowledge and practical skills in balloon kyphoplasty and thermal ablation. Participants should have relevant foundational clinical experience and an interest in multidisciplinary, image-guided patient care.
