Course description

This educational program is designed to present on the principles for treating vertebral compression fractures in the thoracic and lumbar spine with balloon kyphoplasty.

The program focuses on the transpedicular and extrapedicular technique of balloon kyphoplasty in different indications such as osteoporotic, metastasis, and traumatic vertebral compression fractures.

    who are interested in minimally invasive treatment of vertebral compression fractures with balloon kyphoplasty

This training program will combine theory on the indications, clinical results and surgical technique with clinical cases discussions and half day hands-on session in anatomy lab.
