Cádiz - Intrathecal therapy for advanced users
Course description
This course is designed to provide advanced knowledge and experience needed by this therapy. All topics relevant on intrathecal therapy will be covered in depth. Attendees are encouraged to an active participation in the discussion on the topics and will have the opportunity to attend live surgery. The focus of this training program is implant technique.

- Manage all pre-operative matters: psychological evaluation, informed consent, material available to be implanted, anaesthesia, catheter tip position, surgical details
- Implant pumps according to the best practical guidelines
- Manage outcomes and complications
- Refill and troubleshoot pumps
