London - DBS expert forum Dystonia

Course description

DBS expert forum with case discussions. Interactive program where delegates are invited to bring and present difficult cases from adults and paediatrics. Day 1 will be focussed around the care and the continuity and how to set up a service and day 2 will be around troubleshooting, target and programming.

Target Audience

This forum is intended for multidisciplinary teams interested in the impact of DBS, not only a pair of neurologist and neurosurgeon but also the physiotherapist, psychologist, speech therapist, etc. 

Delegates should have more than 3 years of DBS experience as a team.

Learning objectives

The objective of this forum is to build up multidisciplinary confidence in setting up a DBS service in paediatric dystonia.
