Course Description

This tutorial program is designed to support the transfer of knowledge and experience which is essential to meet the quality standards required by this therapy. It includes not only a theoretical training but also on-site practical learning. The course will focus on patient selection, implant techniques of the devices used and patient management.

Target Audience

Nurses with interest and experience in the treatment of pain who desire to learn the practical aspects of the use of neuromodulation therapies for the treatment of chronic pain syndromes.

Topics to be covered

  • Select the correct patients who could benefit for the therapy
  • Understand and describe the mechanisms of action and concepts of the therapy to their patients 
  • Evaluate the clinical support structure required for the use of the therapy 
  • Provide follow-up services for patients who are being treated with the therapy
