Course description
Review latest science on intrathecal drug delivery (IDD), focusing on fluid dynamics and its effects on delivery of drugs into the CNS as well as Neurostimulation. The Forum will bring together pain anesthesiologists, movement disorders specialists, rehabilitation specialists, and surgeons to discuss the implications of the latest modeling research and studies on clinical practice, and potential applications in the future.
Target Audience
Clinicians and researchers interested in understanding the mechanisms of action of intrathecal drug delivery and the relevance to clinical practice. It is recommended that attendees have a minimum of 10 IDD patients under management to be able to contribute maximally to the discussion.
