Course Description

This 3-day tutorial offer stereotactic neurosurgeons the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the application of DBS for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease. The course combines theoretical learning and hands-on experience.

Target Audience

Neurosurgeons with at least 2 or more years of experience with stereotactic neurosurgery. Participants should be interested in the use of Deep Brain Stimulation as an alternative treatment for Parkinson’s Disease and wish to learn the practical aspects of the therapy or improve and expand their knowledge on implant techniques

  • Latest progress in DBS implant equipment and procedures, including practical hands-on experience
