Course Specification

This 1 day tutorial offers neurologists, neurophysiologists and neurosurgeons the opportunity to learn the use of MER for DBS surgery.

Target Audience

Neurosurgeons, Neurophysiologists and Neurologists, with none or limited experience with microelectrode recording in DBS. Participants should be interested in the use of Deep Brain Stimulation as an alternative treatment for Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor or Dystonia and wish to learn the theoretical and practical aspects of surgical target verification using MER and test stimulation.
