Course Description

The course will be two days; a theoretical part will be addressed in the first day where the speakers will discuss aspects related to patient selection, the literature’s evidence, diagnostic tests and comparing various methods of approach. The second day will be a practical part in which some patients candied for PNS will be implanted.

Target Audience

The course is addressed to physicians (Anesthesiologists or Neurosurgeons) with experience in Spinal Cord Stimulation who better want to understand the basis of peripheral nerve stimulation

Course Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide to participants the knowledge concerning the criteria for patient selection, the neurophysiological basis, the implantation techniques and clinical results obtained by stimulation peripheral nerves and subcutaneous.
