Course Specification

ECMT is aware that the constant expansion of the use of Interventional Pain Therapies as a standard of care for chronic pain patients poses a new educational challenge. On site tutorials in a centre with the most extensive experience in the treatment of Ischaemic pain for small groups focusing on patient selection, management, device implant and follow-up of patients. Physicians attending the course will understand

  • The patient selection process for the use of SCS in Angina Pectoris
  • The multidisciplinary approach of the treatment of these patients
  • The follow up and therapy fine tuning for each individual patient
  • Devices involved in the use of SCS
  • Problems and side effects, implant procedure of the devices involved

Cardiologists, cardio anesthetists, anesthetists and pain specialists who are interested in the treatment of Angina Pectoris with Neurostimulation
